DIY Bling Hello Kitty Phone Case

I love my iPhone, I love Hello Kitty, and I love accessorizing anything and everything. I remember as a child I would go to Hilltop Mall with my mom and little sister and would always shop at the Sanrio store. My mom would give my sister and I at least 5 dollars each, which was a lot for us at the time since we were just little kids, to buy whatever we wanted. Forget about KB Toy Store, Claire’s, and Limited Too, when it came to our first choice it was always Sanrio. Besides Hello Kitty, I was also crazy about Pochacco, Keroppi, and Pekkle. Flash forward to about 15+ years and I’m still loving these cute characters plus the new things in life such as the iPhone. Put them together and you have Hello Kitty iPhone cases which I think are to die for. Although I have about 10 phone cases in different colors and styles, these particular phone cases have been my favorite for months now. Best of all is that I custom make them myself. I just made one last night, and although it takes forever (about 4 hours), it’s totally worth it. Placing every single rhinestone on Hello Kitty's face itself takes at least an hour. I have never gotten so many compliments on my phone since I started using these phone cases. When I take out my phone to talk or text, it’s like BAM IN YOUR FACE. Strangers are quick to comment and start asking questions.

After hearing that I make them, so many people tell me to make more and sell them on Etsy or Ebay. I do want to start making a good amount and start selling them on Etsy, but so far I’ve only made 4 and I gave two away as presents. Maybe once I buy a lot more material I can start making enough phone cases to open an Etsy shop =]

Materials = Clear hard phone cases from Ebay. Kawaii Cabochons from Etsy and Ebay. Rhinestones, pearls and other accessories from Ebay, Michael’s, and Beverly’s Fabric & Craft Store. E-600 and Goop glue from K-Mart.
